#WeStories
From Oxford to New York

Yinci Liang

Co-Founder of WeVision

Hi there, I’m Yunci, and I want to share my story with you. I used to be a student at Hertford College, University of Oxford. My journey has taken me from Oxford to New York, and it’s been quite a ride.

During my time at Oxford, I started something called the Liang Foundation. It’s all about making a positive impact in the world. That’s when I first came across WeVision, an amazing organization with a mission I truly believed in. WeVision is all about making the world a better place through education and community development. I joined them, and it’s been a life-changer.

We’ve worked on two cool projects together: EduVita and the Aqua Project. EduVita is all about helping young people in Haiti get a good education and the health resources they need. It’s been incredible to see how education can change lives.

The Aqua Project is about giving people in Haiti access to clean water. We’ve worked hard to make it happen, and the smiles on the faces of the people we’ve helped say it all. Now, I’m in the big city of New York, still working with WeVision to make a difference. It’s a far cry from the calm of Oxford, but the spirit of change and helping others is the same.

My story is all about the power of education, working together, and making a positive change in the world. From Oxford to New York, I’m proud to be a part of #WeStories – stories of transformation, unity, and the simple belief that we can all make the world a better place.

Together, we can keep writing these stories, one small step at a time, until everyone has the chance to thrive.
